We’re bringing crypto payments to a billion people. I’m thrilled to announce two major launches from the team at Coinbase: 1. USDC is now live and ramping up on Shopify as a native payment method in guest checkout and Shop Pay 2. Introducing Coinbase Payments – the stablecoin payments stack for platforms. This will bring stablecoin payments to millions of merchants and nearly a billion buyers — with no setup and no blockchain knowledge required. Just faster, cheaper, global payments, now fully embedded into the world’s biggest ecommerce platform. Why stablecoins?  They’re a step-function upgrade over traditional payments: - Instant – sub-second, 24/7 settlement - Low-cost – no FX or card network fees - Borderless – work where traditional payments don’t - Programmable – enabling new payment logic like rewards, subscriptions, and more (e.g. 1% cashback, coming soon) We’ve built this in partnership with Shopify and Stripe — combining the power of crypto with the polish of traditional payments. Coinbase Derivatives and Nodal Clear are partnering to bring USDC as collateral to US futures trading. This milestone is expected to represent the first-ever regulated use case of USDC as collateral, and we will work closely with the CFTC to make it happen.
